A lot has happened this past year. Obviously a lot has happened in the bigger sense but I’m talking about the WordPress world where millions of websites live.
The block editor has advanced considerably and is headed towards full site editing.
Elementor had a difficult rollout of their 3.0 release but has gotten it stable and provided some very nice new capabilities.
We made the decision to forgo Page Builders (Divi, Elementor, WP Bakery, etc.) for almost all new projects because the block editor, with a little help from some blocks that Toolset provides and some features of the GeneratePress Premium theme, does everything most of our clients need. We still support and use Page Builders for our clients where they add real value. We converted many clients that didn’t really need a Page Builder to the block editor to simplify maintenance and lower costs.
